Essie - Mint Candy Apple

Here's a fun little spring manicure for you. Essie Mint Candy Apple is a nice mint green color but it suffers from the same watery streakiness that Borrowed & Blue does. You have to let it flow onto the nail, not paint it on. It did go on in two coats though, so that's always nice. I did have some dings and bald spots but it didn't matter too much since I was planning to decorate it anyways. These nail decals are from Sally Beauty Supply and are made by Cina. Really easy to put on.

Have any spring plans? Looking forward to the Easter bunny's visit tomorrow?

  3. These are really neat, I wish I'd gotten the chance to see them in person. Three dimensional "textures" like that can really go either way, they can be super gaudy or super nice. I think you've got an eye for picking out the super nice stuff.

  4. Thanks, Nick! And you did get to see them, I had these nails when we went to the casino before Easter. I definitely generally go for subtle and nice but sometimes I love the gaudy stuff just for being so over the top, like this: http://chrissystyles.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/aces.jpg
