Nicole by OPI - Fell From The Tree

Back with another post! This time it's a beautiful glowy green from Nicole. This was part of their holiday collection that I found on clearance at Target. I would always look at the bottle and see how lit-up it looked, think about it, then put it back.. Finally bought it, and I'm glad I did! It covered nicely in two coats and even in a dimly-lit room it just GLOWS. These nails kinda make me feel like Poison Ivy, somehow.. If I was any good at nail art I'd slap some red flowers on here. It's much more of a bright, spring green than it shows here, it doesn't have any of the blackened quality it appears to. I suspect it's because I'm taking pictures next to a sunny window instead of actually out in the sun.

  1. Ooooh... Pretty green! Are you planning on using it for St. Patrick's day, or has another green caught your eye?

I've got China Glaze 'China Rouge' on now, as Sally's didn't have the new Anchor's Aweigh collection for me to snag some 'Hey Sailor'. It's honestly a little on the dark side, but not *quite* Goth. I think I bought a bottle of everything that might be red in China Glaze and the Nina Ultra Pro brand. I got the hairy eyeball from the ladies behind the counter.

  2. I have tons and tons of greens, who knows what I'll wear for St. Patrick's Day? I'm glad you found something you like okay, there's definitely tons and tons of reds out there so you can always try something new. :)

  3. It looks true Kelly green on my monitor. My hubby works at a recycling plant and they get in polishes in mass quantities. He brings them home for me to sift thru. I have lots of colors and some high-end brands. So far I like Mary Kay for quality and colors. I never expected that! - as MK women are so NOT my style. I only paint my toes; tried blues and greys and a seafoam green but can't quite go there. I do like almost-black reds.

  4. Oooooh, lucky you! I wasn't even aware MK had polish. Might have to see what they have. If you like almost-black reds, you might like Zoya Blair. I have a bottle but haven't tried it yet. http://zoya.com/content/38/item/Zoya/Zoya-Nail-Polish-Blair.html
